FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT (MICROSOFT DYNAMICS 365 BUSINESS CENTRAL & PRESALES)

We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and proven presales experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3–5 years of ERP functional consulting experience, with a passion for helping clients transform their business operations through technology.
This role is suited for someone proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and technologies while engaging directly with clients in both consulting and presales capacities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Presales
Support the sales team by participating in presales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
Understand client needs and propose tailored Business Central solutions that align with business goals.
Contribute to solution proposals, scoping documents, and Statements of Work (SOW).
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with clients to capture business requirements, focusing on finance, supply chain, inventory, and reporting.
Document requirements in Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and map them against BC capabilities.
Solution Design & Configuration
Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules to meet client needs.
Ensure designs adhere to best practices in accounting, finance, and business processes.
Work with technical teams to support integrations, customizations, and reporting solutions.
Project Delivery
Actively support the full implementation cycle — from design, configuration, testing, UAT, Go-Live, to post-Go-Live support.
Manage deliverables to ensure on-time and high-quality project execution.
Document change requests and ensure scope alignment with clients.
Testing, Training & Support
Develop UAT test cases and support clients through UAT execution.
Conduct end-user training and prepare training documentation.
Provide proactive post-implementation support and ensure high client satisfaction.
Continuous Learning & Growth
Stay updated with latest features of Business Central, Dynamics 365 ecosystem, and related Microsoft technologies.
Explore, adapt, and recommend new technologies to improve client solutions and internal practices.
Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior consultants where needed.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant, with strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Hands-on presales experience, including client demos, presentations, and solution proposals.
Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and business process flows.
Proactive, self-driven, and action-oriented, with a passion for exploring new technologies and continuous learning.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and deliver practical ERP solutions.
