We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Functional Consultant (ERP – Finance) with 5+ years of hands-on ERP implementation experience.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in ERP finance modules and accounting processes, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex end-to-end ERP projects. This role requires a consultant who can seamlessly blend technical ERP knowledge, accounting expertise, and client-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process & Requirements

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with finance teams and stakeholders.

• Analyse existing processes, identify gaps, and design ERP solutions aligned with accounting and reporting needs.

• Document requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and secure timely client approvals.
  
  

ERP Finance Configuration

• Configure and customize ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting, etc.).

• Ensure solutions comply with accounting standards and reflect accurate double-entry transactions.
  
  

Project Delivery & Execution

• Manage ERP implementations end-to-end, ensuring milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and budget.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Oversee change requests with proper documentation, approval, and billing.
  
  

Testing & Go-Live

• Design and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios reflecting real-world finance processes.

• Manage cutover planning and Go-Live execution with minimal client disruption.

• Provide strong post-Go-Live support and issue resolution.
  
  

Client Training & Engagement

• Conduct end-user training sessions, workshops, and prepare training materials for finance teams.

• Act as a trusted advisor by recommending process improvements, automation, and continuous enhancements.
  
  

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

• Guide and support junior consultants on ERP configuration and project methodologies.

• Share ERP Finance and accounting best practices across project teams.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT (professional accounting qualification is an added advantage).

• 5+ years of ERP Finance functional consulting experience, with full lifecycle implementation exposure.

• Proven ability to deliver complex, end-to-end ERP Finance projects.

• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting, Reconciliations.

• Hands-on expertise in double-entry accounting and financial transactions.

• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage finance leaders and C-level stakeholders effectively.

• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver within strict timelines.
